The Worm that Turned began in 1999 with a mission to ‘Revitalize the Earth’ and they certainly revitalized Derby Road when their stunning shop opened its doors in 2004.
Here, just on the edge of the city centre, you will find everything you need to turn even the smallest of spaces into a green haven of your own. From small, beautifully made hand tools to gorgeous outdoor lighting and furniture plus even a full garden design/build service, there truly is something for everyone’s outdoor space.
Owners Stuart and Heather Isbister both have strong, successful backgrounds in buying and marketing for major high street retailers. Together their experience, mixed with an undeniable passion for gardens, shines through in their beautifully presented shop and website.
Not just thinking of the garden lover, they also have a fantastic range of other outdoor gifts for all the family, young and old, Stuart and Heather have thought of everyone. They also offer free a gift-wrap service and online ordering too.
I encourage you to visit The Worm that Turned and I can promise you will love it as much as I do.
There is plenty of meter parking on Derby Road or on the nearby streets for up to 3 hours.

I met friends in Nottingham and called in on my way back to Derby. What a lovely shop so very nicely presented. I'll be calling in again nearer Christmas.
