Studio 61 is an award winning independent destination Gallery Boutique nestled in the village of Holloway in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales.
Established in 2005 it has gained a reputation for selling high quality British art, design and hand made goods Studio 61 is often referred to as a treasure trove of handcrafted jewellery, textiles, designer handbags, soaps, bath bombs, candles, hearts and lots of unique gifts.
A new range includes home and garden gifts sustainably produced on the Chatsworth Estate. The gallery area hosts year round exhibitions, original paintings, prints and greetings cards by Karina and other Derbyshire artists.
Artist/Owner Karina Goodman specialises in colourful and quirky watercolours, VW & House Portraits, Derbyshire Landscapes and her own range of HeART Ceramics and Bath, Body & Boudoir products, all inspired by and named after her paintings.
Studio 61 showcases the work of around 100 Derbyshire/British Artists & Designers and does not sell trade or imported goods…. which is something Karina is very passionate and proud of.
The Studio has been awarded The Peak District National Park Environmental Quality Mark for being a green business and its promotion of locally sourced sustainable products.

I popped in last week and what a gorgeous little place. No reason to ever be stuck for gift ideas again with this fantastic treasure trove. If you're a 'bag' lady then there is a great selection of preowned bags, so you can even have your fashion fix and be environmentally friendly! (Oh - the ice cream next door isn't bad either!)

I was taking my Mum to Lea Rhododendron Garden and stopped at Studio 61 on the way. Karina is lovely, and the studio if gorgeous. Lots of loveliness(soaps , candles, cards) amongst some excellent art and textiles.As an added bonus there is also an opportunity to browse the quality handbags that are bought from customers and resold through the studio. We had a leisurely browse and will certainly be back to visit the tearoom.

If you can find it you'll, love it. Karina, owner, is lovely and so knowledgeable about the artists. She adds the personal touch with great conversation but is also happy for you to just look around and take your time. Handmade arts and crafts made from a wide variety of mediums and retailing at a variety of prices. I love that many of the artists are really local. Well done, a true Fab Place!

Studio 61 really is a hidden treasure. I've been a few times and always stop off for ice cream at The Coach House Ice Cream Parlour.
