Sallie Moonbeam is another shop I stumbled upon. We took a wrong turn looking for Project X in Buxton and found the Old Court House.
The shop is split into two areas...home accessories and a traditional sweet shop. The home interiors are sweedish inspired and vary from gorgeous heart shape magnets and chalkboards to vases and old fashioned signs. The sweet shop takes me back to mu childhood, with sweets from chocolate cups to gobstoppers. As soon as I walked in I turned into a giddy child pointing out all the sweets I used to have in the 80s!
I recommend you visit Sallie Moonbeam, it’s a great little shop that you could easily miss on a visit to Buxton. Oh, and pop into Project X at the same time for yummy scrummy food!

My children say it's like the sweet shop from Harry Potter. It even takes me back to my childhood...I didn't know you could still get some of the sweets I had in a 10p mix as a child!
